Hairstyling/hot roots

Hi Hairmain,

Yesterday, my sister dyed my hair using Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color (golden brown B3); my natural hair color is black. Iíve learned I have hot roots. The rest of my hair is golden brown.  I was wondering, what is the best way to fix this problem? I would appreciate any suggestion(s)

Also, I heard that when the hair color grows out, my original hair color would come out looking lighter. Is this true?  Thank

Usually this area needs addition natural tone to compensate for the extra warmth that is showing now from the gold that was used. This would be done just in that area. You really want to have this done professionally before making it worse.
Best of luck to you.
