Wow Mr. Hairman I love your response to Lynda... I'm a new licensed cosmetologist although I feel that I have been in the industry much longer since I first attended school in 1990, but had to stop and restart passing DC's board in 09. Anyway your reply to her motivates me even more to continue to study and be knowledgeable in the industry for professional answers such as yours. Thanks for the positivity!!!

Previous answer person; the wave vs jerri; they might use the same chemicals but the process IS different.  

GET a different hair stylist.  Ask around for a stylist that understands mixed peoples hair.  ALL stylist do not know everything and some have NOT worked on different types of hair.  I know of a  stylist would NEVER do white persons hair.  She's not good with that type of hair  and doesn't want to embarrass herself.

I have been doing hair 27 years all hair types recently wave new very popular again right it wasnt done properly I think not rinced out well after you take rods out rince again or it will be dry and brittle and straighten  I had a stylis that didnt rince well after .I always heard its 95 percent whom dose your service keep looking
