Hairstyling/how to make thin hair seem thicker

Question
i have long thin/fine hair that was highlighted blonde, but turned out to be a disaster because my whole head was colored, and it is frizzy now.  But what i'm concerned is how to make my thin hair seem thicker.  Should I cut it shorter and add layers?  Also!  Any ways to make my hair from stop frizzing?  I tried hair products like garnier fructise and paul mitchell hair gel, but none of them lasted long.

Answer
Dear Angela,

Do not chemically process your hair again until the fried hair has grown out and cut off. Fine, thin hair is fragile and can not withstand harsh chemical processing such as color or permanent waving. You are right about cutting it shorter and into layers. Also, you can use a volumizing gel to give it some body. Aphogee Treatment for Damaged Hair is a conditioner that could help with the frizzing. You can get this at Sally Beauty Supply Company Stores, and be sure to follow the directions very carefully.

Thank you for your question.

Take care and God Bless,
