Question In 1984, I met Daryl in Philly, where I was in graduate school and he was ending a painful relationship. It was the most amazing two weeks of my life. He doesn't seem to recall this fling. Sigh. We met in an elevator at Wannamakers (now a defunct department store); this seems to be his MO for meeting SOs, including John Oates.
I think he was in the midst of a divorce or something. We didn't talk much, really.

I'm sorry Daryl has no recollection of a time that was quite significant for you. He wasn't married in 1984, but I'm sure his life was full. Treasure your memory.
