Experience I've been playin Halo 2 for about 2 years now. My older brother got me into it. I am currently a level 34.
Awards and Honors Well, I always get medals in the game for sticking, beating down opponents, and getting constant head shots.
Question One more question; Its become apparent to me that many people cheat on Halo. I understand lag and situations like that, but what is with the sudden, middle of the game, blue screen w/ "Setting up game", then I come back and the leader has 5 more kills!? Also, I guess I have two questions, Im getting "Failed to load map" all the time now, with maps I've always had like Beaver Creek, Lockout, Warlock etc. I've checked for new downloads and there are none that I see. Now this isn't consistant, sometimes, I join w/no problem, but its happening more lately. Like four or five times each night I play. This just started a couple of weeks ago, and it never happened to me before that. So, thats it for now. Btw, my gamertag is vitalsauce. My husband picked that and I want to change it, but just realized it cost 500 pts.! Stupid!

Hey Antonia. I love Halo 2 online, but I've been playing for two months, and I feel like I've hit a "plateau" of sorts. I don't seem to be getting better. I play rumble pit and team sniper mostly and Im a level 14 on both. Problem is, I shot up to this level withing one month, but now, lvl 6,7, and 8's are wasting me! I don't get it! I feel like Im getting worse at sticking and I can dual with a plasma pistol and a smg against a guy with only a smg, and I'm dead! He keeps going on to his next victim. Im pretty good with the nrg sword and the sniper rifle at long distances, but if I have the sniper rifle at close range, I look like Im flailing around, swinging the rifle, shooting aimlessly! I started my look sensitivity at 10 and then after a couple of weeks, I went down to 7, and then to 5. Im still a spaz! Help!

Christi, the best advice I can give you is keep playing! Don't play on x-box live, play split screen with another person if possible. You can also play team training so if you lose, your level doesn't decrease. Try to play with people who have lower levels than you so you have the advantage. Answer Ok first of all theres nothing you can do about the cheating except go into matchmaking with host boxes.The problem with the loading maps can be two things. One is that your on a 360 because they fail to load the old halo maps more often. The second problem could be that your disk is old and scratched.
