Question
How to unlock the password protected harddisk .....
i forget the password that i set ....

where are these password been stored...

Answer
That depends on how you did it and what windows you are using.
If you used a third party software to protect the drive you need to contact the software maker on how to retrieve the password.
If you protected it at the hardware level you may be in a pickle. Some hard drive manufacturers have drive utilizes that can remove hardware level passwords. Check their website.
If you used windows to do it I need to know what windows you are using, and did you protect the whole drive or just folders.
