I'm currently having a similar problem. 750Gb to a pentium 4 with a05 bios. the BIOS can't recognize the memory after a certain point (i cant remember exactly but unless you have a UEFI (the new bios) board then its gonna need to be broken into partions to trick the bios into thinking its multiple drives that it can recognize. fo the size im guessing yours tops out at 120 or what ever the number was that it said the drive was after being installed. make the partitions that size or slightly smaller and you'll have all the space.

sorry for spelling like im texting.

I will try my best to answer questions on installation, maintenance, debugging and salvaging of internal/external hard drives. I've had experience recovering data from damaged disks and recovering disks after being diagnosed as corrupt/damaged. Just drop me a line and chances are I'll be able to help you or direct you to some one who can.
