Question What ever happened to Nanck K. Stouffer that claimed that J.K. Rowlings stole her 1980s book
to write the Harry Potter series???
I know in 2003 that a Federal judge threw out
her lawsuit on several grounds. Stouffer said
she would appeal and the higher court threw
said she had no case.
Now that the 6th Harry Potter book came out in July,2005 I have not heard any news about her.
Her website of realmuggles.com is still up. Again whatever happened to Nancy Stouffer??

Well, I guess she's left the spotlight now that the Supreme Court said she had no case against JKR. I don't think she was the first to accuse JKR of "stealing" her work and she probably won't be the last. But for now, she's left to stew in private. :)
