I was wondering what you think about the Postbac Premed Program that are now offered in some colleges. I have a degree in Organizational Leadership and am really interested in applying for med school. I didn't really do that well w/ my sciences in my undergrad and was thinking of applying to a Postbac Program.

QUESTION: Thank you for your prompt reply. :o) May I ask how old she is and what made her decide to apply for the postbac? I am 26 years old and I read through some of your Q&A's that age is a major factor for med schools. Back then I really didn't care but as I grow older, I know that I can do a good job.
Answer She's 26 or 27. She had specialized in far eastern studies in college and post grad school and spent a year in Japan, then decided she wanted to be a doctor and needed premed courses, so she went to a community college in Seattle. Any age below 35 is o.k. for med schools.
