Question Hello, I was reading a question from a previous inquirer and I am experiencing some of the same symptoms. I feel dizzy after I meal and when I am doing nothing but sitting down. I checked my blood sugar and blood pressure and they were fine. I want to know where do I start in getting an answer to this problem? What kinds of questions should I ask my doctor? Thanks for your advice.
Answer Dear Debra,
Notice if your dizziness is spinning, like you're spinning round and round or the room is spinning around you, and if it's brought on or made worse by twisting your head around. Count your pulse when you're sitting down, especially when you're dizzy, to be sure it's above 45 beats a mnute. Check to see if the hearing in one ear is diminished, and whether you hear ringing in your ears when you're dizzy. Give your doctor the answers to all those questions, and of course ask him to get rid of your dizziness.
Please write back if this note doesn't answer all your questions and PLEASE let me know when you find out what caauses your dizziness.
