Question
QUESTION: What precisely does "Aloha oy"  mean?  Thank you for your time.

ANSWER: Aloha Donna,
It's "Aloha 'oe"
" 'oe " = you
" Aloha "  = means love but not just in romantic love, but also love between friends and family and also friendship, it also means hello and good bye

so it means : I love you

but we also use it as a short form "Aloha" to say hello and bye

QUESTION: Malia- one more question... what does "Aloha no" mean?  Again, thanks!

Answer
Hello again,
"no" has nothing to do with the English "no"
it is a stress pronoun to emphasize what you say,
let's say someone says "aloha" as in "hello"
you say "aloha no" to say "well hello to you also"
but you can also just say "aloha" back

and thank you for the nice feedback you wrote :-)
