Hello there - my husband and I are planning to travel to Hawaii in January. We are certain of the natural beauty of the place but would also incorporate some nightlife and shopping in our trip...first, should we expect to get some of that and second, which island would give us that facility. Also, is Jan a good time to travel to Hawaii - would like if some tourista are there. Hope that the place does not go dead after the Holiday Season. Please advise.

Your questions made me smile. Not only do we have the biggest outdoor mall in the world, but we also have 500,000 tourists per month.
ABout 8 mio per year. So no worries.
If you want it all, nature but also nightlife and shopping, come to the island I live on: O'ahu.
