Question I will be arriving in Maui May 2008 and staying at the Kahana Villa Resort. This will be my first trip to HI.Where would you recommend for me to try to go snorkeling and any other activities that would be appropriate in my condition? Also any great inexpensive local favorite restaurants? Should I rent a car and where would you recommend?
Answer First of all congratulations!! I am really not sure at what point it's not safe to go snorkeling, so I would defiantly check with your doctor. That being said the trilogy Kaanaplai snorkel would be my recommendation and the food is good too :) You might want to check out eh L& L Drive in at Dole cannery, 2 people can share 1 plate. You're staying in a condo and a good way to save a few bucks is to go the safe way nearby there down in Honokauai and stock up on a few things. If you do get the money to spend for to Roys in Kahana, one of my favorites. Please let me know if I can be of more help. Mahalo Bruce
