Question Hi,
I have recently booked the Hilton Hawaii in Oahu Waikiki on Kalia rd. I have 2 children 9 and 12 we are going to that island for a upcoming wedding Dec 25th I am kind of worried about the review the hotel gets about hidden costs that aren't mentioned. What do you recommened and anywhere better to stay.
Thanks
Answer Aloha Marnie, The Hilton is not one of may favorite choices for families on Oahu either for that very reason. The hotel is notorious for having a lot of layers(bureaucracy), charging for just about everything they can get away with and high prices. That being said, it's a expansive property the pool and lagoon recently renovated making it just great for kids. Consider the Sheraton Waikiki as a alternative they have a great new "superpool" for the kids. Here is a link to a video I did recently of the superpool http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_-PFMQ_hh0 Additionally, I just did a video of the New infinity pool they just opened there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3Ixh2hjL3E
