Hawaii - Hawaii recorded water temps

Expert: Malia - 2/13/2009

Question
What is the highest recorded WATER temp in the history of Hawaii?

Answer
Aloha,
Our waters are warm all year long, between lower and upper 70's, sometimes warmer in protected and shallow waters. One can swim all year.
As for a specific record, I am not able to answer that question but suggest you check out the following website for answers:

http://www.noaa.gov

which is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
