Hawaii/Maui

Question
Bruce, I'm sure you've answered a similar question to this before but I can't seem to find it easily anyway.  WE think we found a fairly good price to come to Maui either at the beginning of April or beginning of June.  Which time do you think is better?  As for activities where is the best place to price them out there are so many places to look.  Thanks for your time.

Answer
That's actually a great question, glad you asked.  Typically, I would say that it would be better to come at the beginning of April, the airfare would be cheaper however, this year we are seeing great pricing at the beginning of June as well.  I'm not sure what city you are traveling from, so I guess the answer in this case is that we are seeing great airfares at the beginning of April and June.  For example, I just booked some folks from Albuquerque for $450 per person round-trip on United in L class.  That's very inexpensive coming all the way from Albuquerque.

With regard to activities there are literally hundreds of things to do at each of the islands so I can understand your dilemma.  I always recommend working personally with an agent located here in Hawaii, not just because this is my business, but because it really make sense to plan your trip with someone who understands and knows these islands very well. If you're looking for online resource we have compiled some of the most popular ones on our website so you don't have to go searching high and low for the most popular ones http://www.hawaii-aloha.com/html/hawaii_activities.html   I also plan on talking about this on our podcast so please look for episode 301
