Question
My wife and I are going to book a Cruise to Hawaii next year in March 2010 and was wondering what the normal weather pattern is, we will be visiting the different islands during a 14 day Cruise?  Any advise or suggestions would help we have never went there before. Thank you, Alan

Answer
Aloha,
March is unpredictable. We've had rainy and chilly days with 65 F weather, but today for instance it's about 75 F and gorgeous blue skies.
Usually you can count on a mix of sun and rain and about 75 F during the day, nights about 68 F, days can also be 80 F.
Oahu and Maui and Kona are all sunny, especially all South shores of the islands, Kauai can be wetter so is Hilo on the Big Island. But that's also what makes the charm of these islands, the rainbows and the clouds looking like beards around our mountains.
You will love it.
You can check out KHON one of our TV stations and check the weather, also the 2 newspapers, Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star Bulletin.
