I can answer I would say about 99 % of all questions relating to Hawai`i.
Experience I work for tour agencies as a tour guide so have a wonderful island experience especially from the view of travelers and newcomers to the islands. I am also a high school language teacher.
Question Hi Malia, Thanks for your answer. From what I understand so far, I can't really know where I will be until I apply so for starters are there any areas that I really would not want to be with teenagers? too remote? etc.
Also, considering that our goal is to expose our children to the great Aloha spirit, the ocean andbeach and to a small school setting, where would you recommend? This might include a different island.
Answer Aloha,
No place on Kaua'i is dangerous or anything like that. As for being remote, it's not such a big island so even if you are somewhere away, in half an hour you can be everywhere.
Of course they are more people around the cities such as Poipu, Princeville and Kapa'a but even those are tiny towns.
As for the Aloha Spirit, it is everywhere in Hawaii on all islands :-)
Now for a different island, well they are all different and O'ahu and Maui are the ones with the most people and also traffic and all that but more "possibilities" per se.
So you have to be more specific in what you're looking for.
