Question
our honeymoon is nov. 1 thru nov. 6 and we want to see diamond head and pearl harbour. we are staying on kauai and are in need of assistance the tours i found end before we even arrive. we want to do both in one day and short of paying for interisland tickets and renting a car i dont know what to do

Answer
Aloha Dana,

You are actually on the right track.  You will need to take a inter-island to Oahu from Kauai. The cost for those flights will be about $300 round-trip and the car will cost you about 40 bucks for the day.  Make sure you get the earliest flight in and latest flight out back to Kauai. Drive to Pearl Harbor first, it's free, and close to the airport. After Pearl Harbor you can have lunch and then drive to Diamondhead, which is only about a half hour away from Pearl Harbor.  Both activities shouldn't take you more than five hours to complete.  Hope that helps, mahalo Bruce
