Question There are 8 of us that need to be in Maui November 7th for my sons wedding he lives there. I am having a hard time finding airfair from Orlando Fl to Maui cheeper than $800 a person.times are tight any suggestions on the cheapest way to go and what airline?
Answer Aloha,
First of all congrats on your son's upcoming wedding.
The fare from the mainland is quite expensive indeed, as you probably know it is a 10 hour flight from the East Coast. $ 800 is pricey, you should be able to find a deal for about $ 600.
Have you tried Delta? They fly directly from Atlanta to Honolulu. Otherwise try Cheap Tickets online. I always book my flights through them, they sometimes have an additional connection but then you pay less too.
The main airlines serving Hawai'i coming from the US are United, Continental, Delta and Northwest. Once you are on the West Coast, you may also opt for Hawaiian Airlines out of Seattle, Vegas, Phoenix or LAX.
Hope this helps a bit. Hawaiian actually flies direct from LAX to Kahului Maui so you save the Honolulu part.
