Question
Hi I am writing a children's storybook and would like to use some hawaiian dialect.  How would I say "Island of God" and "praise out the cave" in hawaiian?

Answer
Aloha Val,

How wonderful to write a children's storybook. Will it be available in the islands as well?

Island of God  = Moku i ke akua

moku means island
i ke means of
akua is the most common name for any deity

praise out the cave
you mean praise out of the cave? I am not sure I understand what you are trying to say.

praise is mahalo in Hawaiian (mahalo also means thank you)

out is waho
cave is ana or pao or lua depending on what you want to say

Let me know what you want to say exactly with the 2nd sentence
Mahalo
