Question Hello doctor, Im 23 years old and have recently started working at a new job which I enjoy very much, and have developed a daily headache. It's quite odd for me as I rarely ever get headaches and now I have a headache that lasts for roughly 2-3 hrs everday about an hour after lunch. It was suggested that it may be caffeine headaches but I'm not an avid coffee drinker. As far as I know, I have no allergies to anything - food or environmental - and my diet is varied & nutritional as I prefer eating homemade organic/fresh meals. So I'm a little stumped as to why it's happening. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Answer Mary,
It sounds like the headache is associated with the recent change in jobs. What is different? Are you under stress or have deadlines? Are you dehydrated? Are you sitting all day or moving around? Is your desk ergonomically correct? Are you microwaving your food?
I want you to take a hard look at what you are doing different or being exposed to prior to getting the headaches. It would be helpful if you made a list to aid the process. Also, if you have moved, you were under a lot of stress which may have caused you to have headaches.
Let me know what you come up with.
