We are exactly in the same predicament, none of the  pain killers or antibiotics that the dentist prescribed had worked. Instead, I have found a very good homeopath alternative which is called Aranea Diadema C30, it's in liquid form and you only have to put 5 drops in a water but of course, you have to speak to the homeopathist so he/she can recommend the required doses for you.

I am taking it at the moment as my migraine/pain in my right face got triggered again by acidic stuff i.e. pineapple, vinegar etc... I promise myself to avoid this.... so I'm pain free.

Hope my info helps and good luck!

Go see Dr.Donald Warren in Clinton Arkansas.  He has helped many people with similar problems including my mom.  You won't be disappointed.

well this sounds similar, i had a root canal on a tooth a few weeks back about 4 or 5. and a few days later started to get head ache on right side of head and pressure in nose area and also pressure behind right eye. went bk to dentist they said root canal was perfect. so i went to eye doctor even though pain came after root canal. eyes fine! the pain isn't everyday but has not gone away. eye doctor did tell me they  have seen many people after a root canal that they might have hit a nerve and can take months to repair it self. so in mean time i'm suffering like rt now. but my root canal was on upper rt side and don't feel any pain their.
