Question
I recently relocated to the North Georgia area.  I have 25 years experience as a Kitchen/  Bath Designer as well as having a great deal of experience in the remodeling industry.
I have noticed that employer's are not very open to talking to people who have owned their business.  I'm simply trying to find a job where years of experience would enhance a company's bottom line in a related industry.

Any suggestions as to who I might contact?

Thanks

Answer
Frank-

Thanks for your question.

You are correct that employer's have a hesitancy for candidates who have been "on their own" for an extended period.  Work isn't as verifiable
in some instances so relationships become more important.  You may need
to increase the number of contacts to find the one willing to take a chance and make use of your abilities.  The more folks you talk to, the
better your chances.

Good luck!
