Question Ed,
My question to you is relative to the Atlanta area. I currently reside in Ohio and am looking to relocate to the Atlanta area. Although I possess no degree, my general work experience is within the call center environement as an Assistant Director of Operations. My question to you is this, what would be my best approach in relocation? I have found that many of my resumes are going unnoticed due to the out of state address. Would it be more feasable to look into going through a recruitment service? Any thoughts would be appreciated. This would be my first BIG move from the small city and I could use any help I can get. Thanks again.
Answer Mark-
Thanks for your question.
Atlanta is one of those places where recruiters have a tough time helping out of town candidates. There is a deep pool of available candidates here and companies tend to want us to do a local search.
