Question
Ed,

I appreciate you taking time to answer my question.  Currently, I am a office services manager and am looking to start a new job but not necessarily in the same field.  I have considered other fields close to what I do now, but what about jobs that have little or nothing to do with the experience I have now?  The job I have now is many many things and do want the chance to atleast sit in front of someone and explain what I have accomplished.  The problem seems to be that I am not sure of what type of job I am looking for and do not have an answer to the age old question, "what do you want to be when you grow up".  What is the best way for me to get my information to a recruiter who will see my background and then match me with my skill set?

Answer
Keith-

Thanks for your question.

Sounds like you need to speak with a career coach instead of a recruiter.  A recruiter is paid to match a company's job with an appropriately experienced candidate while a career coach helps you explore career directions right for you.

We have several career help links on our site at http://www.employmentatlanta.com/careerlinks.htm  including
several career coaches.

Good luck!
