Question QUESTION: I'm a few months from graduation and am looking for a shift in careers. I graduate this summer with a Masters degree in both "Health Systems Management" and "Business Administration" from Johns Hopkins. I have served in the US Navy for 12 years and have 14 years of nursing experience. I am looking to shift my focus outside of the Hospital/Clinical setting and focus more on the industry sector. Can you recommend a direction I should pursue?
ANSWER: I would like to give you some advice, but I am not sure what you mean by the industry sector. If you will write back and define what kind of job you ideally would like to find, perhaps I can point you in some good directions.

QUESTION: I am very interested in either Global Health or the BioTech Sector. Interested roles include project/program/operation management.
Answer I am afraid I actually do not know much about these two sectors of the healthcare. I suggest that you speak with individuals who are presently working in these two areas. I would start with your local hospital's biomedical engineering department, and go from there. Good luck.
