Heart & Cardiology/sudden spate of PVCs

If "benign" PVCs become too frequent...say...greater than 20% of all beats, your heart will gradually undergo strain remodeling and a decrease in ejection fraction...a clear reduction in the pumping efficiency of the heart.  I have seen adults and kids unifocal Right Ventricular Outflow Tract PVCs that exceed 20% require ablations with resultant EF improvement.  See Takimoto's paper.
