Heart & Cardiology/Chest Pain

Question
Hello.  Last night I developed a pain in my chest. It wasn't very painful. The location was in the upper right of center area, around the nipple area. Hard to tell how deep it was...could have been muscular, bone level but kind of felt like it was as deep as the lung level. The pain was throbbing in nature, lasting usually for a couple seconds, but it came in waves....probably 8 or 9 waves of 2-3 seconds of throbs. No short of breath associated with it.

Does this pain sound cardiac in nature?

Thank you,
Jimmy
