Question
ECG
ECG
Dear Sir,

I attach a recent abnormal ECG. I had no pains or breathlessness, but I had the ECG taken because my recently had an infarct and I wanted to be careful.  I had one taken 18 months ago, which was normal. Currently, I am working away from home and my normal doctor.

Do I need to take action today, this month, in 3 months?

Answer
Hi Peter,
The ECG doesn't show anything acute. With your history I'd recommend a stress test to see whether you are at risk for another heart attack:

Treatment depends on the results. Meanwhile you need to concentrate on a healthy lifestyle

Hope this helps,
