Heart & Cardiology/statins



My husband had quad. bypass 11 years ago.  Now his cholesterol numbers are fantastic, and he eats high fat foods half the time.  There must be a reason he should be eating low fat foods all the time, even with low chol. numbers, isn't there?  Can you explain that to us.

Presuming he's taking a statin every day, the only other reason not to eat high-fat food would be weighing too much, since his cholesterol number are good.
