Heart & Cardiology/Gallbladder removal with complications

My father is in the hospital suffering through incredible pain. He had stent implants on his heart a month ago and is now being told he will have to have his gallbladder removed. What are the odds of making it through this surgery or if theres any advice for this situation. Thanks in advance. Jeffrey Martinelli

Hi Jeffrey,
Your dads doctors will want to make sure his heart is now OK, usually done with a preoperative consultation by a cardiologist.
If cleared for surgery having his gallbladder surgery should be no problem.
Hope this helps,
