Heart & Cardiology/Breathing problem

Hello Doctor.
My nephew 13 years old is having a problem in breathing freuently.
We have consulted to the cardiologist.
He suggested us for echo cardiography and holter test.
as per doctor both reports are normal.
When i go through the report i found" Pulmonary Valve Dilated".
When i ask doctor he told us one vein is little big.
he told us this is not big issue.
we are taking his tablets.
from last three-four months there is no any improvement.
Please kindly suggest me what is remedy for this kind of problems.

best regards

Hello Ubed,

Breathing problems can come from heart, lungs and brain.  His echo report suggest heart is not likely.  Dilated pulmonary vein won't cause any trouble.  It's possible to have breathlessness from heart even when the echo shows normal heart contraction.  The heart may have trouble relaxing, and that can cause blood to back up in lungs and make the lungs stiff.  Ask the doctor whether diastolic heart failure could be causing his trouble breathing.

With lung trouble, breathlessness is usually accompanies by cough and wheezing.

Anxiety can cause breathing trouble, i.e. breathlessness.  Ask you nephew about anxiety or fear and about bullying at school.

Please write back if this note doesn’t answer all your questions.
