Question
My father in law is taking Inspra among other sat the moment having had a heart attack, he only earns 100 per month and is paying out 60 a month on Inspra is there no other cheaper alternative medicine that will do the same job. Was there nothing else before Inspra.

Answer
Hi Anthony,
Inspra is a diuretic and there are lots of cheaper alternatives that also are potassium sparing, such as hydrochlorothiazide . Whether that is a proper alternative in the treatment of hypertension needs to be discussed with his doctors.
