Heart & Cardiology/Resting heart rate

Question
Hi, I am a 31 year old female and am not overweight. I get moderate excersise most weeks and eat fairly healthy. My resting heart rate tends to be 88-94on average. Is that normal?  My husband is the same age and his is usually like 6 so it scares me sometimes. I have had several EKGs and they all just show sinus tachacardia   I tend too have a raised pulse in the doctors office.

Is that normal?  Are there natural ways to lower the rate if it is considered high?  Thanks for the help!

Sarah

Answer
Hi Sarah,
Read this about heart rates:
http://www.cardiachealth.org/your-heart-rhythm
http://www.cardiachealth.org/your-heart-rate
You will read that yours is perfectly normal, and that you can decrease your resting hr by exercising regularly.
Hope this helps,
