Dear Doctor, I'm very worried about my 63 year old mom, she has diabeties, high blood pressure and cholesterol problems, she eats healthy but has a lot of health issues. She got a cat scan because she has a benign tumor ion top of her kidney and the cat scan found that she has severe aortic abdominal calsification, is this reverseable? Is there anything she can do to prolong her life and not die from this?thank you so much for your services. Martha

Re: severe aortic abdominal calcification, it is not reversible. Whether it requires treatment depends on the blood flow is obstructed. Live a heart healthy life is the only thing she can do:
