Question
I am 41 yr old female. I am having trouble breathing since  3 yrs. My ECG is normal. I do wake up from sleep at midnight due to sudden palpitations. My home BP machine shows BP 130-90 or nearby that time. otherwise it is 110-70. My doctor thinks it is harmonal problem. I am also B12 and D3 defficient. I don't take any medicines. Now my new problem is- I do wake up at midnight with a strange push to ny heart. It dound funny but yes - I really feel as if my heart is pushed with force. And i also get some palpitations that time. Near my period I have a problem of breathing. My thyroid leves are normal. My iron level is quite less.nearly 10 to 10.5

Answer
Hi, http://myheart.net/articles/

If the palpitations are occurring at night frequently and regularly it may be worth wearing some form of monitor to characterize them better. It is also reasonable to perform an echocardiogram of the heart to ensure normal underlying structure and function.

Hope that was helpful,
