Heart & Cardiology/Lung fluid

Question
Hello-

My dad is being treated for fluid in his lungs which lead him to being weak and falling in the shower. He is currently admitted in the hospital and was taking Plavix and Coreg which really helped his condition out. He is doing better, and he wants to go back home, however we are worried he may be too weak to do so.  What would be the best way for him to rehab and get stronger and what items should he have in his home as far as walkers, shower extensions, that would work best.  Thank you

Answer
Hi James,
Plavix and Coreg don't treat "fluid in his lungs", and w/o knowing what causes his heart failure I cannot answer you further. Please read this:

Hope this helps,
