Question Adult heart patient using aspirin 75 m.g,atenelol 25 m.g and Laxotanil(bromazepam)3m.g.from last three years.
B.p 110/70,now i am feeling sextualy weakness one person said this may be due to usage of atenelol,if this is correct then please sugest me alternate of atenelol.
Answer Dear Janjuah,
Atenolol is a faint possibility. If the problem is inability to get penile erction, narrowing of arteries to the penis is more likely. Viagra should help. If the problem is loss of interest in sex, stop the Laxotan for a week. If that doesn't help, ask a doctor to measure the testosterone in your blood. Please don't stop the atenolol without a doctor's advice. Suddenly stopping atenolol can worsen your heart trouble.
