Question
I don't know if this is related or not, but I have been recently diagnosed w/ Rt. Bundle Branch blockage. Yet, I have been experiencing an uncomfortable feeling of heaviness in the area of the heart, whenever I lie down, bend over or try to lay on my side in bed. It hurts through to my back. Any ideas? I am feeling somewhat uneasy about the unknown Blood pressure runs usually 130's / 80's. Pulse w/i normal range. Thank you for your time.

Answer
Dear Ms. McMorris,

Heart is very unlikely.  Heart discomfort usually occurs with exercise and is relieved by sitting or lying down.  Maybe your heaviness is anxiety over the newly diagnosed RBBB.  Or maybe it's back trouble, disc or vertebra, tho backbone disorder usually causes sharper, severer pain. Check your discomfort out with a doctor is my only suggestion.

Please write back if you think I can help.
