Heart & Cardiology - Treadmill Stress test results

Expert: David Richardson - 5/19/2005

Question
Hello:
41-year-old non-smoking woman, bp 108/80, have MVP. Recently experiencing chest pains.  Had a Cardiolite stress test. Over the phone, the clinic said results are normal.  Now that I received the results in mail and now I have questions.

Results say "Sinus rhythm, RSR in V1."
Question: I'd like to know if "RSR" is a bad thing?  When I searched the web, it looks like "RSR in V1" could be any of the following:
1.   right ventricular hypertrophy (RVH),
2.   posterior MI,
3.   Wolff-Parkinson-White (WPW) syndrome, and
4.   right bundle branch block (RBBB).

They all sound bad to me.

Also, the results said "The patient had a lot of artifact on the EKG during the test."
and
"Stress portion is most likely negative for EKG changes of ischemia."   I have no idea what that means.

Chest pains continue on and off.  Just wondering, if everything is "normal"?

Thank you for any answers you can give.
Beth
