I had exactly the same heart attack as your wife, and had a complete arrest for 3.5 minutes. They said there was no hope that I would ever leave the hosp. alive. I also have an ef of 25%. I was 53 at the time and am 85 now and do anything I want to. I have walked 30,000 miles in 30 years since and 10,000 on an exercise bike. Get moving and eat low fat foods, avoid red meats, and enjoy a long healthy life.
