Hi I'm sorry you have had this. I have too or similar. An overdose of thyroxine over several years left me very ill, to the point I could hardly move. My doctor told me I was suffering panic attacks and anxiety, and it was all in my mind! I had severe tachy episodes, and the thing he thought was panic attack was breathing difficulty due to two things. 1. The thyroxine gave me GORD (reflux) and Oesophogitis making breathing harder. 2. My heart racing, stopping, re-starting etc. also caused breathing strangeness, feeling of not able to breath. Once diagnosed, it took a while but I now don't get these awful episodes! It took a long time though, and I've got a long way to go, but traveling in the right direction. Hope you are too!
