Question The unit is uncovered up against the house, and snow drifts are covering the unit. I try to shovel it clear but snow & ice still get in & block the fan. Blowing the breaker in the house. Was told by the company to leave it
uncovered? Can i put something around it to keep the snow & ice away from it???
Answer I had a similar problem with water dripping off of the roof and freezing on the coils. You can build a shelter with the top at least 3 feet above the unit and a fence around it at least 3 feet away. It requires at least 3 feet of clearance in every direction. Thanks J
