Question Hello, i have a weils mclain oil heating system; i had our contractor out yesterday cause the system shit down, he changed the filter and clean the sludge out (very cold weather). the system was up and running wiht no issues; one day later the system does not seem to be running properly, it keeps turning off and on, running for 2 minutes or so, is it not kicking on properly? is there a thermostat issue? Is this normal?
Answer It is not a thermostat problem. There may be a safety control either doing its job or failing. Since it was just serviced, I would call the service manager and tell them the unit is still not repaired, you should not have to pay for a return call. Thanks J
