Question
kenmore cold spot 2001 model 51252101 year 2001 seareal fl3527597
my fridge has been humming for 2 days and now is not cold what could be the
problem ?
tanks

Answer
Look at the rear of the refrigerator and see which part is humming. It may be the fan that cools the compressor has debris blocking it or it has failed. If the fan is running but the compressor is humming and not starting, you can try replacing the start components of the compressor as they are relatively inexpenive, but if this does not work and the compressor still does not start, the compressor has failed and it would not be worth installing a new compressor because a new compressor is very expensive, it would only have a minimul warranty and the labor to install it would warrant just junking it and purchasing a new one. Thanks J
