Heating, Air Conditioning, Fridge, HVAC - leaking condensate.

Question
I have a Heil DC90 furnace mounted horizontally in a crawl space.
I have water driping from the exhaust blower motor connection to the exhaust pvc pipe which vents to the outside of the house.
There is also what looks like a nipple in the same area that looks like it should have a hose attached to drain condensate?
There is a hole in the side of the sheet metal below the nipple which I assume is to run a hose to the nipple to drain the condensate? The dripping water is causing rust on the inner wall of the sheetmetal.

Should I be concerned about the water dripping from the blower/pvc connection and should I install a hose from the nipple to drain the water to the sump pump pit?

Also there is no pvc bringing fresh air from the outside to the furnace. Should I install a fresh air pipe to the outside?

Thanks
John Heneghan

Answer
Is there not any crawl space vents around the foundation ?? So all your combustion air supply is from an enclosed space ??   Ought to have 1 sq in. fresh air opening for every 10k btu. I don't know the details of that furnace. But not good to have water dripping from draft motr. Best get an installation manual for the furnace from a local Heil dealer.
