Question With the fan switched to auto, heating and cooling in off position. the fan intermittently turns on for 10mins and cycles off and repeats the cycle. i removed the thermostat, but still repeats the cycle. i have a digital ritetemp thermostat.
Answer Wow, Ralh, thats really weird. A circuit board controlled furnace has a timed circuit for blower control. That circuit could be faulty. The older kind of furnace control has a heat sensing switch that is adjustable. Maybe this kind is set too low temp & needs adjusting upward. Which one do you have ?
