Question QUESTION: I have a Sears/Kenmore Double 27" Upper Convection Built-In Wall Oven, Model # 911.48065 (White). Purchased in 1995. We have replaced the Control Panel twice. We are constantly turning the power from the breaker on/off because of beeping. At times it displays the F1 or F7 code. I am ready to buy another oven but thought I would see if I could get any answers as to how this might be fixed before replacing. I read a post from 1996 to Kari who had the same model as this one.
I also need the installation dimensions for this model. Cannot find the installation guide that we received with this unit.
ANSWER: The error codes are different. Which one error most? F1 or F7? We need to be more specific. Codes are not written in stone, they are merely a guideline. I tried to do some research on your unit......but your model number is missing some numbers. PLease supply me the complete model number off the unit itself and not out of a book please.

QUESTION: Information needed:
Model # 911.48065690
Serial # 6T2252330 or 612252330 can't read clearly
F7 is the code displayed most often
It does not beep constantly but most of the time. Sometimes we cut the unit on from the breaker box and will not have any beeping for some time.
Crazy!
Answer It's time to figure out which component is causing the problem. You will need to cut power and then gain access to the control panel. You will see a ribbon connection coming from the front touchpad going to the electronic control. Disconnect this connection from the electronic control. Don't force nothing. Restore power and wait.....wait 24 hours or at least until another error code come up and beeps. After 24 hours of bening disconnected, let me know what happpens. Keep in mind the clock will be flashing and you will not be able to set the clock or use the oven. Let me know the results and I will give my opinion.
