Question Appliance info:
TRANE High Efficiency Weathertron Heat Pump XE1000
Model: TWR024C100A2
Made in 1999
Problem: The fan in the outside heat pump unit does not spin. Increasing the temperature in the thermostat creats a click sound in the unit but the fan does not spin. The fan is not blocked by anything as it moves freely when turned by a long screw driver. Air is coming out of the vent inside the house probably by the internal unit of the heat pump. A response at your earliest would be highly appreciated.
